Origin

The first gaze.

In 2014, Urican set out the lines of its visual language. Four personalities, each photographed in optical and sun versions, reveal a first collection built on presence, precision and character.

Before Retro Chic came this first gesture.

A pared-back studio, direct portraits and frames that never try to disappear. Origin lets faces speak as clearly as its lines. Alexandre, Élodie, Hugo and Louise embody four ways of wearing Urican, from the clarity of optical frames to the contrast of sunglasses.

The line, down to the detail.

Optical. Sun. Same character.

The first names identify the four photographic chapters of the historical campaign, not commercial product references.

The starting point.

Origin begins a study of character, cut and the way a frame transforms a face. In 2018, Retro Chic carries this language forward with seven models and becomes the brand’s most assertive collection.
